  6. Part 2 Muddy Waters’s “Got My Mojo Working” deviates from my definition of the blues in that it does not have as much of a melancholic tone as most blues songs are characterized by. I believe this is because it is more of a piano blues song with a faster tempo. It does, however, have the raspy timbre and call and response between Waters’s voice and the instruments that is consistent.
